Anticrime Unit

The Anticrime Unit is headed by Lt. Michael F. Woods. It consists of veteran officers whose main function is to deal with neighborhood problem areas. This includes street level narcotics distribution, rowdy juvenile problems, public areas being used for illicit purposes, and many other assignments.

Typically the Anticrime Unit will be called upon to conduct long term surveillance activities in areas where a high incidence of burglaries or other crimes are occurring.
