Hamilton Township Municipal Government Offices will be Closed on Wednesday, February 10th
Due to the inclement weather affecting our area, Hamilton Township Municipal Government Offices, the Municipal Court and Township Library will be closed today (Wednesday, February 10, 2010).
Only essential government employees will be required to report to work today. Township snow plow crews will spend today clearing the Township’s primary roads for public safety personnel and await the storm’s conclusion to plow all secondary Township roads.
Residents are reminded to check the Township’s website frequently for updates, as well as “Snow Plow Sal” for the latest snow plowing information for your street. Likewise, residents are reminded to remove vehicles from the sides of roads to assist with the Township’s snow plowing efforts.
Due to the closing of government offices, today’s tax payment grace period deadline will be extended to the Township’s next business day.
At the time of this advisory, residential garbage collection is still scheduled to take place. However, if this changes, a cancelation notice will be placed on the Township website (www.HamiltonNJ.com).
Hamilton Township thanks residents for their continued cooperation and patience, and urges residents to exercise caution due to the weather conditions.
