Annual Township Calendar Photo Contest

Residents and Local Businesses Can Help Support the Calendar

“We love Hamilton because…” …Well, the answer is up to you!

Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly Yaede has announced the Township’s annual Photo Contest for the upcoming 2015 Hamilton Township Municipal Government Calendar, which will feature the theme “We Love Hamilton because…”

“Whether it is our great parks, our wonderful community events or our beautiful neighborhoods – there is so much to love about Hamilton Township,” says Mayor Kelly Yaede.  “This year’s photo contest and Township calendar hopes to highlight just some of the many reasons why our families, friends and neighbors love Hamilton Township.   I look forward to our residents and local businesses supporting this year’s calendar.”

Residents are asked to submit the ‘reason’ that they ‘love Hamilton’ along with a photograph that illustrates their reason. Some photographs will be chosen by a selection committee to be featured in the 2015 Hamilton Township Municipal Government Calendar, which will be sent to every household and local business receives in late December.  Photographers will be credited for their pictures and the reason they love Hamilton Township.

Participating residents are asked to submit photographs with a signed disclaimer form, which is available online at or by Clicking Here, giving full permission for the photograph to be featured in the calendar.  Photographs of people or private objects (such as works of art, private properties, etc.) must have the permission of the photographed individuals (or parents/guardians) or the work’s/property’s rightful owner for use in the calendar.

Photographs must be submitted electronically (via E-mail attachment) to no later than Friday, October 3, 2014, and meet the quality standards of at least 300 DPI (dots per inch) or minimum dimensions of 3000 x 2400 pixels.  Poor picture quality may results in photographs being unable to be used.

Local businesses can also help support the 2015 calendar by advertising in it, which provides a great opportunity to reach every household and business in the community.  Advertisement information is also available online at or by Clicking Here. Businesses are encouraged to consider advertisements as soon as possible, because the limited advertisement spacing will be reserved on a first-come/first-serve basis upon receipt of payment.
