Secondary Road Plowing to Take Place
Sunday Afternoon, February 15th
ü PLOWING SECONDARY ROADS BEGINS
The plowing of secondary (neighborhood) roads will
begin at approximately 12:30 PM today (Sunday) in an attempt to clear as much snow
from the roads as possible, due to the sub-freezing temperatures and forecast
for additional snow later this week. Due to high winds today, snow drifting will occur. Roads will not be down to pavement due to blowing snow and cold temps.

AUTOMOBILES FROM ROAD CURBSIDES, IF POSSIBLE, AS A COURTESY TO OUR PLOWING CREWS
To assist our plowing crews, please remove all
automobile from the road/road curbsides if possible. This will help our plowing crews complete plowing
faster and remove more snow from the road.
When residents leave automobiles parked along the road/road
curbsides, it takes longer for plows to safely and carefully navigate around
the vehicles, as well as leaves more snow that remains on the road.

The feature gives an estimation (plowing may occur prior to the listed time) of when
your street (secondary road) will be plowed.
The application is now live. Remember to enter your house number when entering your address.
ü PREVENT DRIVEWAYS BEING PLOWED BACK IN
Waiting until after your road is plowed to shovel your
driveway apron is the best way to avoid your driveway being plowed back in. If you chose to shovel your driveway apron
before your road is plowed, the diagram in the following link is a helpful
