FREE Paper Shredding for Hamilton Residents on Saturday, September
Don’t miss Hamilton’s final paper shredding
event for 2015.
Mayor Kelly Yaede is inviting residents to take advantage of Hamilton’s FREE
Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, September 19th at the Hamilton
Township Police Division Headquarters parking lot (located at 1270
Whitehorse-Mercerville Road on the “Municipal Court” side of the complex).
The event will take place from 8 am to 12 pm Noon (or until the
shredding truck is full) and will be held rain or shine. Attendees for the paper shredding event will
enter the complex from Judge Samuel A. Alito Way.
“Our free paper
shredding event is a very popular service that keeps attracting a growing
number of residents,” explains Mayor Kelly Yaede. “Not only is it a convenient and
environmentally friendly way to dispose of paper materials, but it is also a
safe way to dispose of sensitive documents in order to prevent identity
The event is a FREE service open to Township
residents only and requires proof
of residency, such as a driver’s license, tax bill or utility bill. Business or commercial materials are prohibited from this
Residents will be able to shred paper materials and file folders, up
to a 100 lb. limit. However, items such
as CD’s, VHS tapes, DVD’s, plastic cases, computer hardware, metal, trash
items, food products, x-rays, cardboard or similar items are prohibited.
