Upcoming Hamilton Events During Holiday Season

Hamilton Mayor Kelly Yaede is pleased to invite residents to join in the several holiday events that the Township will be hosting during the coming days.

“I look forward to seeing residents at our great holiday events that will be taking place throughout this month,” says Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly Yaede.  “These annual celebrations are beloved by our community and spread joy throughout the season.  I wish our residents a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah or Kwanzaa and a healthy New Year shared with family, friends and loved ones.”    

 

Winter Wonderland (Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5)
6 pm to 9 pm (both evenings)

This beloved annual event, which is a favorite among families with young children, includes a number of exciting activities for children, such as:     

  • Annual Kuser Mansion Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on Friday at 7pm
  • Visiting "Santa's Village" (including free pictures with Santa)
  • Making Reindeer Food
  • Taking a ride on the "Holiday Express Train"
  • Petting Zoo
  • Touring the beautifully decorated Kuser Mansion
  • Jersey Valley Model Railroad Club display which is located in the basement of Kuser Mansion.
  • Taking in the magnitude of decorations and lights throughout Kuser Farm Park
  • Enjoying musical entertainment, food vendors and other exciting activities
  • Attendees are kindly asked to consider a donation of a new, unwrapped toy for Toy Drive benefiting Toys for Tots or a non-perishable food item for our Holiday Food Drive benefiting the Bromley Center’s food pantry

Please join Mayor Kelly Yaede, Rabbi Yaakov Chaiton of the Chabad of Robbinsville\S. Hamilton and residents to celebrate Hamilton’s 2nd annual Hanukkah Ceremony.  Dignitaries will light a Menorah to mark the Hanukkah season and the Chabad of Robbinsville\S. Hamilton will provide light refreshments following the ceremony.

Hamilton’s Community of Light Ceremony with Womanspace (Monday, December 7)
5 PM Municipal Building Steps (2090 Greenwood Ave.)
FREE to Attend Ceremony

Join Mayor Kelly Yaede and representatives from the non-profit group, Womanspace, to raise awareness on this issue of domestic violence and sexual assault, while showing solidarity with victims.  During the ceremony, a display of beautiful luminaries will be used to light the Municipal Building steps (weather permitting).  The annual Community of Light is an effort by Womanspace to provide hope for women and children impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault.

Town Hall Christmas Tree Lighting (Tuesday, December 8)

Join Mayor Kelly Yaede and Township officials as they light the Christmas Tree on the front steps of the Hamilton Township Municipal Building for this annual ceremony, which includes:

 

  • An audience of Greenwood Elementary students
  • Musical Performance by the Steinert High School Choir under the direction of Mr. Richard Schneider 
  • A visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus 

Special thanks to Delaware Valley Bus Line, Inc. for generously providing transportation needs, Hamilton Fire Company for their participation and to the Steinert High School Choir under the direction of Mr. Richard Schneider

  • Wednesday, December 9 from 10 am - 2 pm and 6 pm - 9pm (Jersey Valley Model Railroad Display in basement in evening only)

  • Saturday, December 12 from 4 pm - 8 pm (Santa visiting from 4 pm – 7 pm; Jersey Valley Model Railroad Display in basement)
