The Trenton Thunder will enjoy the ‘Hamilton’
field advantage on Sunday, April 10th at 1 PM when they take on the
Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers affiliate) as part of “Hamilton Day” at the Trenton Thunder.
During the special promotion, all Hamilton
residents can enjoy a reduced price of $8 per ticket (regularly $12 per ticket)
for the game. Additionally, the first
1,000 fans between the ages of 5 and 15 will receive a Luis Severino replica jersey as part of ‘Kids Opening Day’
presented by TD Bank. Severino, who
previously played for the Thunder, debuted for the New York Yankees last year
and is considered one of the team’s top prospects.
The “Hamilton Day” festivities will include musical
performances by Hamilton students and Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly Yaede throwing
out the first pitch.
“Each year it seems like
more and more residents enjoy Hamilton Day at the Trenton Thunder and I look
forward to seeing many Hamiltonians at this year’s game,” says Hamilton Township Mayor
Kelly Yaede. “The
annual game is always a great way to gather as a community and enjoy an
exciting Trenton Thunder game.”
Baseball fans that attend “Hamilton Day” at the
Trenton Thunder will also be able to see current Erie SeaWolves manager and
former eight-time MLB All Star, Lance Parrish.
Parrish spent 19 years in the majors and was a member of the Detroit
Tigers 1984 championship team. Parrish
also briefly played for the Philadelphia Phillies in the late 1980’s.
