Mayor Nominates Business Manager for Fortune 500 Company to the Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission

Expanding opportunities in Hamilton’s local economy remains a top priority for Mayor Kelly Yaede.  And to help continue the community’s recent economic successes, Mayor Yaede has nominated a business manager for a Fortune 500 Company to serve on the Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission.

Yaede has nominated Hamilton resident and Business Operations Manager for Campbell Soup (a Fortune 500 company headquartered in New Jersey), David T. Walsh.

Walsh holds 18 years of experience in the field of supply chain management for companies across the north east.  Walsh also holds an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Maryland.  Previously, Walsh was a candidate for County Freeholder.

“As a resident, husband, and father of two children, I have a vested interest in the direction of our community.  I believe my private-sector, business experience brings a unique perspective when it comes to attracting new businesses to Hamilton and creating a strong local economy,” says Walsh.  “I want to thank Mayor Yaede for this nomination and look forward to the opportunity of working with her and the entire Township Government to continuing the positive economic growth taking place in Hamilton.”

“David’s experience with Fortune 500 companies, combined with his commitment to our community, make him an ideal candidate for service on our Economic Development Advisory Commission,” explains Mayor Yaede.

Walsh’s nomination will be presented to the Township Council for final approval in the coming weeks.

The Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission serves as a volunteer, advisory body to the Mayor through interaction with the Hamilton’s Economic Development Department.   The Commission seeks to offer information, insight, and advice regarding the economic growth and stability in Hamilton, assist in business attraction, retention and expansion, as well as holds annual events seeking to support and recognize local businesses.
