“As a parent of a child with special needs, who my wife and I are incredibly proud of, my interest is in assisting our local citizens with special needs and people like my son,” says Gruzlovic.  “I want to thank Mayor Yaede for this honor and hope I can contribute in a constructive manner to serving our residents with special needs.”

“As a parent of a special needs child, I know that Mark has a passion to help contribute to work of our Special Needs Commission,” explains Mayor Yaede.  “I look forward to his service and his contribution to the commission.”

Gruzlovic’s nomination will be presented to the Township Council for final approval this evening.

The Mayor's Commission on Persons with Special Needs is an advisory body that seeks to make recommendations for policies and programs related to the best interests of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities within Hamilton Township.  Likewise, the Commission periodically undertakes initiatives proposed by the Mayor to serve citizens with special needs, such as the Hamilton Township Resource Guide for Persons with Special Needs, which residents can access via HamiltonNJ.com/SpecialNeeds
