Hamilton Holds Free Rabies Clinic for Residents’ Dogs and Cats on Wednesday, June 1st
Kelly Yaede is inviting residents to take advantage of Hamilton’s upcoming free
rabies immunization clinic for their dogs and cats.
Township will hold its next free rabies immunization clinic on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the McManimon Township Building located at 320 Scully Avenue, between the hours of 5 PM and 7 PM.
McManimon Building at 320 Scully Avenue is located off of Olden Avenue, between
Liberty Street and Cedar Lane, opposite the Olden Pharmacy.
a courtesy, Hamilton’s rabies clinics are open to pets of Township residents only
(proof of residency is required),
and are free of charge.
“Our free rabies clinics
help to protect our pets and public health,” explains Mayor Kelly Yaede. “I urge residents in need of rabies
immunizations for their dogs or cats to take advantage of our upcoming free
residents utilizing this Township service, all dogs must be leashed. As a safety precaution, dogs should be
muzzled, if necessary. All cats must
arrive in a carrier.

Health Policy requires the immunization of dogs every 2 years, even if the
inoculation is good for a 3 year period.
the June 1st clinic, Hamilton Township is scheduled to hold its final
rabies clinic of the year on September 7, 2016.
