presented their annual scholarship awards to three Hamilton high school
Ericka Aguilar, Nottingham’s Grace Dwyer and Hamilton West’s Victoria Bezek each received a $750 scholarship
towards their college educations from Hamilton’s Economic Development Advisory
Commission. The scholarships are funded from private (non-taxpayer)
dollars generated by annual commission events. Mayor Kelly Yaede and
Councilman Ralph Mastrangelo also presented proclamations to the award winners.

will be pursuing a college degree in a business-related field. One
student is chosen from each high school by the school’s own Guidance Department
in accordance to the scholarship program’s criteria. An emphasis is also
placed upon community service activities.

opportunities for future generations of Hamiltonians,” explains Mayor Kelly
Yaede. “I want to congratulate them, as well as thank our dedicated
Economic Development Advisory Commission for their continued dedication and
commitment to supporting the continued education of our students such as this
year’s award winners.”
Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission serves as a
volunteer, advisory body to the Mayor through interaction with the Hamilton’s
Economic Development Department. The Commission seeks to offer
information, insight, and advice regarding the economic growth and stability in
Hamilton, assist in business attraction, retention and expansion, as well as
holds annual events seeking to support and recognize local businesses.
