Contest Lets Residents Help Promote What Visitors
‘Should Not Miss’ Each Month in Hamilton
it the Fireworks and Concert around the Fourth of July?

Mayor Kelly Yaede and Township
officials want to know what special events, celebrations or places that both
residents…and visitors ‘should not miss’ each month taking
place in Hamilton.
It is part of the Township’s annual
Photo Contest for the upcoming 2017 Hamilton Township Municipal Government
Calendar, which will have a new, unique twist.
This year, as part of Hamilton’s efforts to help capitalize on tourism, the
annual calendar will look to highlight the special things that visitors should
not miss when visiting the community.
“We always hear that the best way a
visitor can find out the best things to do in an area they travel to is to ‘ask
a local.’ With this year’s calendar
photo contest, we are using that same philosophy to help show visitors all that
they can do in Hamilton Township, NJ,” says Mayor Kelly Yaede. “With our great location, easy
access to highways and our train station, along with three hotels to stay when
you arrive, Hamilton has so much to offer visitors. Whether it is Grounds For Sculpture, our annual
community events, local historic sites, beautiful parks, delicious dining
options or our retail shopping centers, there is so much for visitors to enjoy
throughout the year in Hamilton.”
Township officials also plan to
utilize some contest photographs on a new Tourism website they will be
Additionally, Hamilton will provide
display copies of the 2017 Township Calendar to hotels within the community to
