Hamilton Urges Residents to Monitor Developments of Tropical Storm Hermine This Labor Day Weekend

Mayor Kelly Yaede and Hamilton Township’s Office of Emergency Management are urging residents to continue to monitor developments of Tropical Storm Hermine over this Labor Day weekend, as the storm could potentially impact our area later this weekend.

In addition to frequently checking weather reports, residents can review Hurricane and Tropical Storm preparedness information and tips provided by the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management via the following link:  http://www.ready.nj.gov/plan/hurricanes.html

Public Service Electric and Gas is also monitoring Tropical Storm Hermine’s development and has provided an update, which includes suggested preparedness tips:   https://www.pseg.com/info/media/newsreleases/2016/2016-09-02.jsp#.V8mjZVsrLcs

Hamilton Township officials are also preparing for potential impacts that Tropical Storm Hermine could have on our region this week.  The actual path of the storm will dictate any change in impacts for the Hamilton Township area, so officials will be closely monitoring Tropical Storm Hermine throughout this weekend.
