4th Quarter Property Taxes Due,
Grace Period Deadline on November 10th
Hamilton residents and property owners are
reminded that 4th Quarter Property Tax
Payments were due on
November 1, 2016; however Hamilton's
10-day grace period to avoid interest allows residents to make 4th
quarter payments by the close of the Township business day
on Thursday, November
10, 2016, without
incurring a late fee.
As a reminder to residents who may wish to
pay in person at the Hamilton Township Tax Collector’s Office; Township Offices will be CLOSED on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 (Election Day) except for Election Business.
Residents can make payments online via HamiltonNJ.com/PayOnline
Notice for Tax Sale for Unpaid Tax, Sewer or Assessment
After the close of Township business on Tuesday, November 10,
2016, any tax,
sewer, or assessment (lien) that remains unpaid from during past the 12-month
period will be subject to Tax Sale. NOTE – Payment will only be accepted in the
form of certified check, cash or money order after the close of Township
business on Tuesday, November 10, 2016.
Residents and property owners may use the Tax and/or Sewer Payment
Options on HamiltonNJ.com/PayOnline to
check to see if any prior year payments or liens remain unpaid at this time, as
well as view late interest costs (up to current day total only) associated with
unpaid items; however will be unable
to make online payments.
