Update on Hamilton Community Energy Aggregation Program
Letters from PSE&G Confirming Change in Energy Supplier Beginning in Mid-February
In the middle of this month (February), participating residents, those
who did not opt-out before the February 4th deadline, will
receive a letter from Public Service Electric & Gas to confirm the change
of your electricity supply to "South Jersey Energy" (the
electricity supplier through the HCEA program).
***As a reminder, through our Hamilton Community Energy Program, Public
Service Electric & Gas will still:
this less expensive electricity supply to you
your bill/receive your payment
respond to power outage restoration issues
Also as a reminder, this
program only applies to your electricity supply and does not include your
gas supply. Additionally, there is no effect upon
assistance programs or existing PSEG appliance protection and repair service
Participating resident do
not have to do anything further as the letter is simply a required confirmation
of the change in the electricity supplier.

(toll-free) at 1-888-650-4465 (between 9 AM - 5 PM) or Email at HCEA-SJE@sjindustries.com
Please be ready to provide
your POD Identification number which will begin with the letters "PE"
for How to Find POD ID Number
Even if you did not
opt-out before the February 4th deadline, participating residents
can still choose to opt-out at any time with no termination fee.
Please note that it will take between 20 and 45 days (dependent upon the
billing cycle) to accommodate those requests.
