Ave/Whitehorse Mercerville Road

The first phase of this project
involves the installation of higher utility poles due to voltage issues. This project will continue down Whitehorse Ave/Whitehorse Mercerville Road
over the next few months, with the majority of work occurring between 9 AM and 3 PM on both weekdays and weekends, unless issues require an extension of
work hours. A system of lane shifts and
detours will be used, as the progression of this project’s first phase
continues down Whitehorse Mercerville Road.
Residents and neighboring
motorists may wish to avoid this area during the above mentioned times, if able
to do so, to help mitigate traffic congestion.
The second phase of this project will
result in the wiring of the new, higher utility poles, which will subsequently
involve other utilities moving their respective wires and eventually removing
the old utility poles.
After this project is complete,
PSE&G will be performing similar projects in other portions of our
