TRAFFIC NOTICE - Road Repairs to South Broad Street from Gropps Lake to Yardville-Hamilton Square Road/Church Street
The following project is a Mercer County Government Project.
On or about Monday, July 10, 2017, milling and resurfacing work will begin on South Broad Street (CR 524) from Gropps Lake to the intersection of Yardville-Hamilton Square Road/Church Street (Five Points-Yardville) in Hamilton Township. Mercer County anticipates that this work will take approximately twenty-one (21) working days, weather permitting, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Mercer County proposes to complete milling and resurfacing in three (3) stages as follows:
• Stage 1 would include the section from Gropps Lake to Coleridge Avenue. During this time, each half of the roadway would be completed using an alternating traffic pattern with traffic maintained in both directions;
• Stage 2 would include the section between Coleridge Avenue and Sunnybrae Boulevard. One travel direction would be maintained and the other direction would be detoured via Coleridge Avenue, Elton Avenue and Sunnybrae Boulevard;
• Stage 3 would include the section from Sunnybrae Boulevard to Yardville-Hamilton Square Road. One travel direction would be maintained and the other direction would be detoured via Sunnybrae Boulevard, Argonne Avenue and Yardville-Hamilton Square Road.
Local Access and access for emergency vehicles will be accommodated during construction. Full, unrestricted access would be permitted during nonworking hours.
