Winter Weather Advisory – Monday, January 29 and Tuesday, January 30,
At the time of this update, forecasts
indicate the possibility of a mix of light rain and snow beginning this evening
(Monday, January 29, 2018) and continuing overnight, with scattered snow showers beginning during the early morning hours of Tuesday,
January 30, 2018, and continuing into the late afternoon (on Tuesday).
At the time of this notice, less than 1 inch of snowfall accumulation is anticipated for local roadways
through the entire winter storm.
Due to the fact that temperatures are expected to drop well
below freezing on Tuesday evening, residents should exercise caution if
traveling following snowfall and throughout Wednesday morning due to the
possibility of icy conditions.
In preparation for this storm,
Township crews have already applied brine on primary roadways. Mayor Kelly Yaede,
Hamilton's Public Works Department and Hamilton’s Office of Emergency
Management will continue to monitor this winter storm.
