Latest forecasts expect a nor’easter to impact
our area beginning Thursday evening and
continuing into Friday.
·
Our area is expected to border between rainfall and mixed participation
(some snow), which could create both flooding (during rain) and slushy
conditions (during snow).
·
At the time of this notice, between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain is forecasted.
Additionally, should precipitation turn
into snow, up to 1 inch of slushy snow accumulation is possible.
·
Wind gusts will increase overnight and into
tomorrow, with peak wind gusts of upwards
of 55 mph possible Friday afternoon and evening.
·
Power
outages, downed trees, and travel disruptions are possible.
Mayor Kelly Yaede, Hamilton's Public Works Department and
Hamilton’s Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor this storm
and provide further updates if necessary.
