35th Annual National Night Out

Police-Community Partnerships Building Safer Neighborhoods

August 7th 2018, 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Hamilton, NJ:  Hamilton Police Chief James M. Stevens has announced that on Tuesday August 7, 2018 starting at 5:00pm, Hamilton Police will be hosting their 35th National Night Out at the Police Division Headquarters, located at 1270 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road. National Night Out is a nationwide event that aims to reinforce positive police-community partnerships in order to combat crime. The Hamilton Police Department will be joined by representatives from all segments of our community that share the goal of a safe Hamilton.

While these agencies will have useful information for adults and children, there will be many activities that will be available for children. Police and public safety equipment will be on display such as police vehicles and firetrucks. Home Depot will have a Kids Workshop activity for children. There will also be a bounce house, petting zoo and pony rides.

“In addition to featuring many exciting activities for our community’s children, our annual National Night Out is always a great way for our residents to interact with our Police Officers, as we continue to strengthen the cooperative relationship between our law-abiding citizens and our entire Police Division.  This important partnership is what helps to improve public safety and protect all of our families, neighbors and loved ones,” says Mayor Kelly Yaede, who also serves as Hamilton’s Director of Public Safety.
