Football Legend’s TV Series Features Hamilton as one of Country’s Hidden Gems – Great Place to Live, Work and Play
Hamilton Township may be known as “America’s Favorite Hometown”, but can add one of the country’s “hidden gems” to the list.
Profiles with Terry Bradshaw - a series hosted by the former Pittsburg Steelers quarterback and current NFL commentator with Fox Sports - is featuring Hamilton as a community that is a great place to live, work and play.
The 5-minute segment – narrated by Bradshaw – will air in 19 regional broadcast markets over a 7 month period. The first airing began last weekend in the Allentown, PA media market.
The Hamilton segment – which is geared towards economic development and tourism promotion – features some of the parks, recreational facilities, neighborhoods, transportation infrastructure, and businesses that make Hamilton a great place to live, work and play. Interviews in the segment include David Miller, Executive Director of Grounds For Sculpture, and Michael Saporito, co-owner of Hamilton Honda.
Hamilton Township also enjoys the rights to use the segment for economic development purposes and is planning to include copies of the segment in promotional outreach packets to potential entrepreneurs and business leaders.
“Having a nationally-known celebrity such as Terry Bradshaw narrating a segment about our community is not something that every community can boast about. I think it is an attention grabber for someone we may approach about the economic opportunities and tourism potential in Hamilton Township, especially those who are not familiar with our community,” says Hamilton Township Mayor John Bencivengo. “I am excited about the potential this will give us in our economic development efforts, whether for the Arts and Cultural District or other areas we are looking to reinvigorate underutilized properties.”
In the coming weeks, Hamilton Township’s Economic Development Department will redesign its Business website, which will feature a link to the video segment.
“We are constantly working on ways to promote opportunities for both new and existing Hamilton businesses,” explains Hamilton Township Director of Economic Development and Technology, Michael Angarone. “This segment will definitely be a useful tool as part of our efforts to expand economic and job opportunities for all of our residents and local business owners.”
