Yaede to Continue Open Dialogue with Business Leaders at May 6th Networking with Mayor Event
Following the series’ first meeting, which drew nearly 100 attendees, Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly A. Yaede and the Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission (HTEDAC) invite local business leaders to attend the next Networking with Mayor Yaede event on Monday, May 6th at Blend Bar & Bistro (located at 911 State Highway 33, Hamilton, NJ 08690 – next to Brothers Pizza), from 6 to 8 p.m.
At the quarterly series meetings, which provide an excellent networking opportunity for business leaders, Yaede looks to continue an open dialogue with the local business community to identify ways that Hamilton Township can keep expanding economic opportunities that benefit the community’s businesses and residents.
Tickets are $20 per individual and can be made payable to “HTEDAC” at P.O. Box 2926, Hamilton, NJ 08690. Business leaders can register for the kick-off event online at www.HTEDAC.eventbrite.com or by calling commission members John Strycharz at (609) 638-7580 or Harold Laudien at (732) 715-5757.
Sponsorship opportunities for the event are also available through the event website. Proceeds from the event support the continuation of the Economic Development Advisory Commission’s annual events without the use of taxpayer dollars.
In her State of the Township Address earlier this year, Mayor Yaede outlined areas in which she hopes to have an open dialogue with local business leaders, including how Hamilton can further streamline procedures for incoming and expanding businesses, improve its land use codes and revitalize vacant store fronts.
“I understand that one of the best ways to assist our local business leaders is to simply listen to their ideas and suggestions, and then see how our local government can create an economic environment that supports their investments in our community,” explains Mayor Yaede. “An open dialogue with our local business leaders and entrepreneurs is the right recipe to ensure that Hamilton Township continues to enjoy job opportunities for our residents, commerce to support our existing businesses and growth opportunities to benefit the future of our community.”
Through the remainder of the year, other Networking with Mayor Yaede series meetings will be held in different locations across Hamilton to make it even more convenient for business leaders to attend.
To keep informed about these and other HTEDAC events, business leaders can e-mail HTEDAC Chairman Vinny Chawla at HTEDAC@gmail.com to receive communications regarding future programs.
