Show Us How YOUR Family Enjoys Hamilton Township in the 2014 Township Calendar Photograph Contest

Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly A. Yaede is looking for YOUR help in creating the 2014 Hamilton Township Calendar.

The theme of Hamilton’s 2014 calendar will be “Hamilton Township Families Enjoying our Hometown”

As part of the annual photo contest, Mayor Yaede invites residents to submit photographs that show how their families and loved ones enjoy the many parks, recreational amenities, community events and other aspects that make Hamilton Township a great community.

“As generations of Hamiltonians know, our community is a great place for all of our families to live, work and play.  The theme of our 2014 Township Calendar will highlight this important facet of our hometown, which makes Hamilton Township a special community for us all,” says Mayor Yaede.

Submitted photographs should be ideally of families enjoying township parks (i.e. Veterans Park, Sayen Gardens, Anchor Thread Park, etc.), annual community events (i.e. Septemberfest, Azalea Festival, Fall Harvest, Winter Wonderland or township-based parades) and other public areas or aspects of the community.  Residents are kindly asked to refrain from submitting photographs that do not complement the theme of the 2014 calendar.

A committee of Township officials will select the final photographs for inclusion based upon the theme of Hamilton Township Families Enjoying Our Hometown – and will credit the photographers.

As in past years, participating residents are asked to submit photographs with a signed disclaimer form, giving full permission for the photograph to be used for the calendar.   Also, photographs of any person or private object (such as works of art, property, home, etc.) must have the permission of the photographed person or the work’s rightful owner for use in the calendar [for example, picture of a sculpture requires the permission of its artist].  Permission forms will be available on the Hamilton Township website, or by Clicking Here

Photographs must be submitted electronically (via E-mail attachment) to no later than Friday, October 4, 2013 and meet the quality standards of at least 300 DPI (dots per inch) or minimum dimensions of 3000 x 2400 pixels.

Each year, the Hamilton Township calendar is mailed to every household in the community.  In the coming weeks, information for perspective advertisers will also be available on Hamilton Township website.
