Hamilton to Hold Free Rabies Clinic for Residents’ Dogs and Cats on Wednesday, September 4th (Final Clinic of 2013)
Hamilton Township will hold its final free rabies immunization clinic of the year for residents’ dogs and cats on Wednesday, September 4th at the McManimon Township Building located at 320 Scully Avenue, between the hours of 5 PM and 7 PM.
Note for Directions: The McManimon Building at 320 Scully Avenue is located off of Olden Avenue, between Liberty Street and Cedar Lane, opposite the Olden Pharmacy.
As a courtesy, the clinic is open to pets of Township residents only (proof of residency is required), and is free of charge. For residents utilizing this Hamilton Township service, all dogs must be leashed. As a safety precaution, dogs should be muzzled, if necessary. All cats must arrive in a carrier.
In response to the rabies epidemic in our wildlife, the New Jersey Department of Health Policy requires the immunization of dogs every 2 years, even if the inoculation is good for a 3 year period.
