PSE&G to begin replacement of old gas line along Whitehorse Mercerville Rd from Rt. 33 to 5 points.
On or about Monday, March 6, 2023, PSE&G is to begin replacement of an old gas line along CR 533 Whitehorse Mercerville Rd from NJ Route 33 to just north of CR 535 Nottingham Way/Edinberg Rd (5-Points intersection) in Hamilton Township. PSE&G will be utilizing their subcontractor, Waters &Bugbee Inc., to perform the construction work. Construction will occur overnight between the hours of 7 PM and 6 AM Monday through Friday, as well as weekends as needed. CR 533 Whitehorse Mercerville Rd will be limited to a single lane in both directions during construction hours.
Traffic patterns on nearby State, County, and local roadways and intersections will be impacted. This includes but is not limited to NJ Route 33, CR 652/616 Nottingham Way, CR 535 Edinburg Rd, and CR 533 Quakerbridge Rd. Road closures on CR 652 Nottingham Way and NJ Route 33 will be required at times. Detours can be expected. Local Police will be utilized.
