Animal Shelter & Adoption Center

Meet our featured pet Ansley!

Ansley came in as a stray but this friendly girl hasn't looked back! She is playful and social with new people, always ready to make friends. She loves playing with toys and drops them when asked. Ansley gets a little aroused in play, jumping and sometimes leash-biting, but she calms down quickly when play stops. As can be said of most young dogs, she would benefit from some training to teach her more appropriate, polite play behavior. She also really enjoys touch and massage, and she quiets down right away when she is petted, luxuriating in the contact. Ansley is a high-energy player with other dogs. Because of her exuberance, a household with teens and up is preferred, though dog-savvy tweens are possible.
