On Saturday, March 2, 2024, Hamilton Police Division received a report of a possible threat to Hamilton High West which was posted on social media. The post was both threatening and highly inappropriate.
The Hamilton Police Division and Hamilton Township School District began investigating this incident immediately. Through collaborative efforts, information received, and data reviewed, we are confident that this social media message has NO credibility and there is NO threat to our students, schools, or community.
Hamilton Police Division continues to hold the safety and security of our students, schools, and community as a top priority. We will continue to investigate the source of this social media post and any other threatening posts. At this time, we are confident that the Hamilton Township School community is safe.
