Administration
The Department of Administration serves as a liaison on behalf of the Mayor to each of the principal departments of township government.

Clerk
The Office of the Municipal Clerk has many duties which include secretary to the governing body, chief administrative officer for all local elections, registrar of municipal voters, custodian of records, and also provides for the issuance of various licenses and permits.

Community & Economic Development
The Community and Economic Development Department consists of the Division of Engineering, Division of Planning, Division of Inspections, Division of Land Use, Division of Housing and Code Enforcement, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Zoning Enforcement.

Court
The Municipal Court is an independent branch of government constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes in order to preserve the rule of law and to protect the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States and this State.

Emergency Management & Preparedness
When emergencies occur, whether natural or man-made, the first line of emergency management is your local (Township) level.

Finance
The Department of Finance accounts for and controls all Township Revenue and expense.

Fire Division
On Friday, January 1, 2021, the nine independent fire districts were consolidated into one unified Fire Division.

Health, Recreation, Senior & Veterans Services
Under the direction of Kathleen Fitzgerald, this Department is dedicated to maintaining the health and well-being of our residents and visitors by means of prevention, health promotion and education; fulfilling the recreational needs of the Township's residents; promoting the most enriching quality of life for our Hamilton Township Seniors; and assisting our veterans by helping to direct them to the services and programs that can help them, and specifically those that are provided at the Federal, State and County level of government.

Law
Under the direction of the Township Attorney, Elissa Grodd Schragger, the Department of Law is responsible for providing legal counsel and advice to the Administration and various municipal departments, as well as the legislative branch of municipal government, the Township Council.

The Department of Public Works is a hands-on team of professionals dedicated to supporting and improving Hamilton's infrastructure and public properties.

Water Pollution Control
The Hamilton Township Department of Water Pollution Control (WPC) operates a regional wastewater treatment facility with a capacity of 16 million gallons per day (MGD) and an average daily flow of 7.5 MGD in 2021.
