Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash
On March 9, 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Lalor Street near Bunting Avenue. The crash involved 18-year-old Alexander Thomas of Sicklerville, NJ, who was riding westbound with a group of motorcyclists and quad riders. The group was reportedly driving recklessly in the oncoming lane when Thomas attempted to pass a quad rider. In the process, he collided with the rear of the quad, lost control, and crashed.
Tragically, Thomas was pronounced deceased at the scene due to sustaining serious injuries. His fellow riders fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Assistance at the scene was provided by the Trenton Police Department, Emergency Medical Services, and the Hamilton Township Fire Division.
The crash is currently under investigation by Officer J. Anaya and Officer P. Welsh of the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash are asked to contact the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit at (609) 581-4000.
