Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash
On November 5, 2025, at approximately 5:48 p.m., a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian occurred on S. Olden Ave near the intersection with Estates Blvd. Gino A. Montervino, a 31-year-old male from Trenton, NJ was riding a standard, non-motorized skateboard within the northbound lane of S. Olden Ave, heading north. A 2022 Toyota Camry being driven by Nency Arana Rodriguez was also heading northbound on S. Olden Ave, approaching the pedestrian from behind. Due to the level of darkness, the clothing of the pedestrian and the lack of reflective material, it appears the driver did not see the pedestrian until the impact. Following the collision, the pedestrian was ejected from the skateboard and sustained a serious head injury upon impacting the roadway. He was declared deceased on scene by medical personnel. There were no other reported injuries.
