[ARCHIVED] Wawa Opens New Hamilton Location on S. Broad Street

S. Broad Street Wawa Grand OpeningEarlier this month, Hamilton Township Mayor Jeff Martin, Councilman Anthony Carabelli Jr., and Councilman Charles “Chuddy” Whalen joined Wawa for the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the latest Wawa location on South Broad Street at the Whitehorse Circle.

Wawa’s newest store, located at 3157 South Broad Street in Hamilton, marked  the thirty-sixth new store  to open in 2022  across Wawa’s operating area. As a way to mark the occasion and celebrate joining the community, Wawa held a Hoagies for Heroes hoagie-building competition between members of the Hamilton Police and Fire Divisions. Our Hamilton Fire responders were tasked with building the most hoagies in three minutes. Additionally, the Wawa mascot, “Wally Goose” was on-hand to honor three local individuals as part of their “Day Brighteners” Tour.

Mike Dovidio will serve as General Manager, leading a team of approximately fifty associates. The location will offer customers with fuel and is fully equipped with built-to-order fresh food kitchen.  The kitchen will offer menu items which we’ve all come to love;  including their signature hoagies, award-winning Wawa coffee, and the Sizzli, Wawa’s hot breakfast sandwich, as well as new items such as Wawa’s new line of specialty beverages, Wawa Bakery, and new food innovations such as the customizable burger.

“Hamilton Township is happy to see a company like Wawa join and invest in our community both through their community  initiatives and through employment opportunities for locals from day zero to the present. We are excited to have Wawa as a community partner,” stated Mayor Martin.

Wawa stores are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Washington D.C. To learn more about Wawa, check fuel prices, and learn of deals,  visit www.wawa.com or download their mobile app.
