Owner Victor Cruz has been an experienced butcher for nearly forty years and runs the store with his wife of 36 years, Sarita, and their children. Victor has had an appreciation for meat since his first official job, working at a meat plant in Jersey City. As a skilled butcher, Victor not only cuts the meat but also has a knowledge of the different muscle groups and how they contribute to the yield and quality of meat. Victor’s mother and their Puerto Rican culture were significant culinary influences in his life, with meat being a staple in meals growing up in a family of nine children. Victor’s goal is to have customers feel like family and will share the wealth of information he has to help you cook healthy, flavorful, and affordable meals.
