On Friday, May 23, 2025, Mayor Jeff Martin and Assemblywoman Tenielle McCoy were present to welcome Patel Brothers with a ribbon-cutting ceremony of their newest location within The Court at Hamilton Station Shopping Center, 3100 Quakerbridge Road in Hamilton Township.
What began in 1974 as a dream shared by two brothers has grown into the largest Indian grocery chain in the United States. Nearly five decades later, Patel Brothers has become a beloved brand, offering authentic Indian groceries and cultural products to communities across the country. The Hamilton grand opening represents another proud milestone in that journey.
The Patel family has built a legacy grounded in tradition, service, and hard work. Many family members began their involvement at an early age—bagging groceries, stocking shelves, and pushing carts—instilling the values that continue to define the Patel Brothers experience today. Together, they help Americans from all backgrounds "Celebrate Our Food... Our Culture."

“We are proud to welcome Patel Brothers to Hamilton,” said Mayor Martin. “Their presence not only strengthens our local economy but also adds to the cultural richness of our community.”
From fresh produce and authentic spices to traditional snacks and specialty items, Patel Brothers offers a vibrant, immersive shopping experience that brings the flavors and heritage of South Asia to local families. For more information about the Indian grocery chain, visit www.patelbros.com.
