Senior Transportation

Transportation services offered by Hamilton Township are for seniors that are physically able to walk to and from the vehicle. At this time, we are not able to offer transportation services to seniors confined to a wheelchair.

Doctor's Appointments

The Center will provide transportation for our seniors Monday through Friday from approximately 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Advance notice is needed to arrange your transportation. To arrange transportation, please call 890-3686.

Food Shopping

The Center will provide transportation for our seniors that have no other means to go food shopping, on a weekly or biweekly basis. The supermarket is at the discretion of the Township driver depending on their route for the day. The transportation is available Monday through Thursday. Advance notice is needed to arrange your shopping trip. To arrange transportation, please call 890-3686.

Mercer County Transportation Resources To Aid The Disadvantaged And Elderly (TRADE)

The Mercer County TRADE provides transportation to the Hamilton Township Nutrition Site (Hamilton Senior Center) Monday through Friday. TRADE is able to assist wheelchair-bound seniors in their transportation needs. For more information, please call 530-1971 or see the TRADE website.

Medi Transport

Medi Transport is a medical transportation service for Medicaid, wheelchair and ambulatory seniors. Two options are available: Self-pay (for $80 and up) and Medicaid. Medicaid patients must go through a social worker and need 48 hours' notice. For Medi-Transport of Mercer County, call 609-586-7171.

RideProvide

RideProvide is a program of the Greater Mercer Transportation Management association, which is a non-profit transportation service offering personalized, low-cost, door-to-door transportation to seniors (65 and up) and people with physical disabilities. The drivers will take you in sedans to activities of your choice, such as medical appointments, visits with friends and family, attendance at community events, religious activities, personal and grocery shopping, hairdresser or barber appointments, seeing a movie and much more.
