Due to the overwhelming number of dogs in the Hamilton Animal Shelter, as of June 14, 2024 we are closing dog intake to surrenders and public drop off of stray animals.

If there is a stray animal within Hamilton Township, Animal Control MUST be contacted for pick up. Do not bring the animal to the shelter without first speaking to animal control or a police officer.
